Me: So Jamie, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Jamie: A cow
Me: You can’t be a cow!
Jamie: A dog
Me: Jamie, little boys don’t grow up to be animals.
So he thinks about this for a bit and then his face lights up and he says “an airplane! “

Me & Aisha (3 yrs old)

Me: Aisha, since mommy is going to have a new baby what do you want, a baby brother or a baby sister?
Aisha: I want a grandfather

Aisha: Do you want to hear my new song?
Me: Sure
Aisha: When I was a babyeee, I was annoyingeeee, because I was always cryingeee
Me laughing: Good song

(The new baby is a frequent topic)

Me: So Aisha, what should we name the new baby?
Aisha says without a second of hesitation “Grass cutter, because I like our garden”
