Jesus loves me!

I’ve been on a quest for sometime looking for shoes but so far in this lovely land they do not make shoes in my size. I guess everyone in the country has smaller feet then me……I am ashamed. However the day of miracles is not passed.

Yesterday while in route to some waterfalls we stopped at this tiny town to buy some ice for our beer which had almost reach boiling point and here is where it happened. While wandering and waiting for the ice I spied a nice pair of sandals in a window. Upon entering I ask the dear ancient lady behind the desk for the largest size they have….ahem. (Yes, I do have large feet, it kind of runs in the family)

She fumbles in the back and brings them out and miracle of miracles they fit! “Do you have these in black?” I ask the ancient lady who now looks more like a rescuing angel. She nods yes. And so ends my happy tale, I got the shoes; they fit, in the right color AND for a very good price. So yes Jesus loves me!
