Yay or nay? December 23, 2006
The Latest , trackbackI’m a gullible puppy, pretty much every salesperson’s and Nigerian scammer’s dream. As much as I’ve tried to jade myself, I still believe those beastly salespeople who tell me they’re giving me a “special deal” that’s “ending today”. I forward those kinds of emails around that claim Bill Gates is doing a promotion for IE and will send you a check for $25,000 for every person that you forward this email to extolling the virtues of IE.
I do these things just in case it might be true, and I only ever send them to my close friends who will forgive my stupidity and will still be my friend. So if you’ve never received one of these kinds of emails from me…….ah, never mind.
All that to say, I’m having a hard time figuring out if this
is really, well, real. Notice the first comment? Who is it from? And what does it link to?
I’m confused. I don’t know whether to be excited or skeptical. I’d rather be excited, but I thought I’d check around first to avoid any potential embarrassment.

It’s called blog message spam. Some sites were doing it on my blog as well. Since we have spam filters up everywhere, they found this new way of spamming us.
