The Latest , trackbackFirst of all, I’d just like to say that I do not like this theme, it does not represent the essense of my character, as blog themes should. Its simply the first theme in the last four that I downloaded that does not have a glitch. Stay tuned for the developing look as I find my online self. I do hope to get time one of these days.
Anyway, onto what’s really important. So they’ve all left us, the Wordstockers. It’s okay, I chose not to go. Simply because I love money more than music. Besides, they don’t know what they’re missing. For example, I’m sitting here at 11:00 while the grownups drink “comfort ourselves because we’re not going to Wordstock” margaritas, discussing our food situation, more specifically, why everyone who comes to our Home automatically gains five pounds. I love these types of discussions, its like Home Council, yet more effective. Something about sitting in Home Council makes people not want to discuss anything, they just want to VOTE VOTE VOTE! Now we’re discussing steak. I’m kind of hearing all this in my subconcious while I think of something intellegent to say.
There are further advantages to not going to Wordstock. I have my entire king-size bed to myself, no, my entire room to myself. I’m bonding with myself quite nicely. Furthermore……I get to hang out with the moms, who would make such cool singles if they weren’t already such cool mothers.
The reason this post is really not smart is because I’m tired and I’m trying to tune into the conversation. Now they’re talking about yogurt.
Well, the conversation is more interesting than what I have to say right now. I’d like to add though, that I intend for my blog to be very Shooting Straight friendly, so keep an eye out for new developments that will catipult my blog into a piercing light in the midst of the Internet darkness.
I was going to enlighten you with my insights about why its cool to stay home from Wordstock but suffice it to say that we, The few, The sexless, The Rich, The stay-by-the-stuffers, are keeping you in our prayers and hope y’all have a swinging (or moshing, as the case may be) time. Play it safe. Think things through. Watch those hormones.
